Pozuelo Taekwondo club follows the ITF style of taekwondo which is practised throughout the world.
The instructor is Nick Thatcher, 4th Dan, British open champion, with over 10 years experience in teaching taekwondo to children and adults.
The club is affiliated with the ITF Taekwondo Federation, which organizes regular competitions and seminars.
Gradings will be held once a term, in order to progress through the belt system:
- 10th kup: White belt
- 9th kup: White belt / yellow stripe
- 8th kup: Yellow belt
- 7th kup: Yellow belt / green stripe
- 6th kup: Green belt
- 5th kup: Green belt / blue stripe
- 4th kup: Blue belt
- 3rd kup: Blue belt / red stripe
- 2nd kup: Red belt
- 1st kup: Red belt / black stripe
- 1st Dan to 9th Dan: Black belt
